TWO stars of the soap drama, ‘Home and Away’ are to play the lead parts in another remake of the 1980 film, The Blue Lagoon.
Brenton Thwaites, who played Stu Henderson, and Indiana Evans, who played Matilda Hunter, have been cast in the lead roles made famous by Brooke Shields and Christopher Atkins in the 1980 movie. Milla Jovovich and Brian Krause reprised the roles in 1991 film, Return to Blue Lagoon.
Thwaites and Evans, who was recently seen in ABC legal drama Crownies, will play a boy and a girl marooned on an island where they grow up together in a modern-day remake by Lifetime. Filming is scheduled to start this month in Puerto Rico.
If history repeats itself, as Perez Hilton noted, this role will be the beginning of Indiana’s rise to international stardom, while Brenton will probably just fade away like the other two male actors who have played Richard in the past.

The finale of the ABC’s multi-million dollar drama series Crownies drew only 457,000 viewers last night, failing to make it into the top 15 programs.
The result is well down on the program’s debut of 706,000 and helps the public broadcaster justify its decision not to renew the show.
The young legal drama will not return next year although ABC1 is considering a spin-off. Last week ABC1 Channel Controller Brendan Dahill told TV Tonight he was “genuinely surprised (Crownies) didn’t engage a bigger audience than it did.”

Hello netters Hope you’re ready for a big catch up update!? Since Leanne and I have both been very busy with both offline stuff, and other sites, there has been a huge lack of updates here. Both of us have started new schools, Leanne have been sick for a while, and now I am really sick as well. Therefore, this lack might continue for a little longer. I have moments where I feel really well, and I will do my best at updating during these moments. However, untill I have completely recovered, updates might be a bit slow. But now over to the new updates!
First up, Indiana’s guest appearance in COPS L.a.c is now on youtube. You can watch part 1 here, and part 2 here. A big thank you to our sister site Heart Indiana for these clips. I have my own version downloaded, so I will make some screencaptures for you as soon as possible! So stay tuned for those, and enjoy the clips while you are waiting. It’s great to see Indiana act again!
Secoundly, Indiana have graced the red carpet at two new events! And she sure looked amazing while doing it. On September 22, she attented Samsung Mobile AFI Awards Screenings, where she wore a gorgeous red and black outfit. We only have 2 photos from this event so far, but we are searching for more! Indiana also attented the Nickelodeon Kids choice awards on October 8, alongside her H20 co star Cariba Heine. On the NKCA, Indiana even presented an award which was given to Miley Cyrus.
